Google Virtual Tour

Apologies for the inconvenience! Google recently stopped hosting Google Tours, but we’re working on a new virtual tour that will be up soon.

Virtually visit the downtown Salt Lake City sites involved in the Utah women’s suffrage movement. Utah women were the first American women to vote under equal suffrage laws in February 1870 — fifty years before the passage of the 19th Amendment. This amendment extended women’s voting rights throughout the United States, yet many women of color continued to fight for those rights.
